Vitae
- started programming with BASIC at about age of 9 on my first computer, a Commodore C16
- learned Assembler on Commodore C64 at age of 13, started to combine Assembler and BASIC programs
- first steps towards Software Architecture at age of 13, when I started to structure and layout my Assembler/BASIC programs and tried to avoid time-consuming memory-copy-actions when the need for extension occurred
- studied computer science at RWTH Aachen University, finished with diploma (“Dipl.-Inform.”)
- did my PhD (“Dr.-Ing.”) and worked as research assistant at WZL (Laboratory for Machine Tools and Production Engineering) at RWTH Aachen University in engineering, working on control systems for machine tools and production systems
- joined BOSCH in 2008 as Systems & Software Architect for the development of advanced driver assistance and automated driving systems (ADAS)
